When the acquisition happened, two former PacWest employees made a different choice: rather than continuing on working for a national corporation, they decided to preserve what made PacWest special — the local focus, personal service, and customer-first values.

That decision became Mountain Top Propane.

Suburban Bought PacWest — But We Carried Its Spirit

We didn’t purchase the PacWest name, trucks, or customer list. We started fresh. But we brought with us what mattered most: the hands-on experience, the commitment to reliability, and the belief that propane service can still feel personal.
